Vogue Paris Turns Supermodels into High Fashion Barbies

It appears that we’re not the only ones who remember Tyra Banks’ and Lindsay Lohan’s Disney TV movie Life-Size, where a young girl brings her doll to life.

Italian photographer Giampaolo Sgura’s January 2015 Vogue Paris feature offers a literal take on fashion Barbie that every couture-loving kid-at-heart can get behind.  Sgura captures supermodels Elisabeth Erm and Magdalena Frackowiak as living dolls representing 12 high-end fashion houses.

Enclosed in Barbie-like display boxes, each “doll” is accessorized with colorful shoes, bags, outfit changes, and props that match the haute couture brand she represents.  Even each box design is unique and on brand.
