We’re thrilled, honored, and excited to announce that founder and CEO of Fitzroy Toys Stefanie Botelho has been featured in “The List 2017” by the National Retail Federation.
What is “The List” you may ask? It’s a roundup of 25 people that are working to shape the future of retail in America. 2017’s diverse crowd of honorees featured everyone from an enterprising 12 year-old to someone with over five decades of experience in the biz.
We’re particularly pleased to be mentioned in the “Dreamers” category, whose “heart, energy, and passion inspire everyone around them.” Fellow Dreamers include industry superstars (and new household names) like Boxed Wholesale, True&Co., and the aforementioned 12 year-old Mikaila Ulmer who scored a deal on Shark Tank for Me & The Bees lemonade.
Though Fitzroy Toys has roots as a Harvard Business School project, it’s become so much more: It’s revolutionized the toy marketplace for small makers, by allowing retailers of all sizes to discover them, no matter their marketing budget or savvy.
If that isn’t something to celebrate, we don’t know what is.
